Pictures from the visit of the French Ambassador
On March 12, 2024, French Ambassador to the United States Laurent Bili visited the University of Washington and Seattle. During his visit, French & Italian Studies faculty member Richard Watts was invited to join the Ambassador and the team from the French Consulate of San Francisco for lunch. Ambassador Bili, who later met with current French undergraduate and MA students, was pleased to hear of the health of our French programs and the innovative approaches to French Studies taken by our faculty and students.
