Minor in Italian Studies

Requirements for Italian Studies Minor

Courses

  • 15 credits from ITAL 301, ITAL 302, ITAL 303, or ITAL 334

  • Two 5-credit courses at the ITAL 340- and ITAL 350-levels.

  • 5 credits above ITAL 203 (excludes ITAL 227, 234, 299, 327)

  • Minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA for courses applied to the minor

  • Maximum one course taught in English may be applied to the minor

  • Maximum 10 credits of approved study-abroad coursework may be petitioned to apply to the minor.

No more than one course offered in English may be counted toward the minor.  A minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA is required for courses applied toward the minor.

Note: Up to 10 credits taken abroad may be counted toward the minor with adviser approval.
