FIS Chair Beatrice Arduini Attends Admitted Student Day Event at the Burke Museum

On Saturday, April 20th, the College of Arts & Sciences hosted a variety of events for Admitted Student Day 2024. During this day, recently admitted Freshman students to the UW are invited to campus to explore, learn about our programs, and meet other huskies! The College hosted an event at the Burke Museum that day which allowed new students to meet with faculty and staff from across different departments. The chair of French & Italian Studies, Beatrice Arduini, attended and was able to talk to new students interested in our programs. Assigned to a team which included representatives from the Jackson School of International Studies and Biology, Professor Arduini met with admitted students and their families to discuss our programs, study abroad offerings, and our department as a whole. The event was well-attended and many students were able to meet with department representatives during this kick-off to their freshman experience.
