Associate Professor of French Studies Louisa Mackenzie will speak at a public symposium at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY on Saturday, April 7th. The symposium, "Legitimatizing iel" will focus on language and the trans community in Francophone and Anglophone spaces. Professor Mackenzie will give a talk on how to include non-binary gender identities within bi-gendered langauge classrooms. To learn more about this symposium and see the flyer, please go here.
