Biography
Fiore Pignataro is a native Seattleite with grandparents from towns outside of Bari and Napoli. Spending a quarter in Siena, Italy, as student at UW really made an impact him as an undergrad. Fiore graduated with honors from the Departmentl of Comparative Literature, with a emphasis in Italian Studies in 1991. He went on to receive a Masters in Teaching at Seattle University in 1993, and spent his first 12 working years as a K-12 teacher. During his teaching career, he taught 4th grade and English summer school at the International School of Genova and held summer English courses in the parish of his grandparents and great grandparents in Valenzano, Puglia. Now a residential real estate broker, he enjoys life by Green Lake with his wife and two daughters.
