Beatrice Arduini, Associate Professor of Italian, has recently been featured in a video to celebrate Dantedì, or Dante Day. In a video produced by ICoN (Italian Culture Consortium on the Net), Professor Arduini reflects on the meaning of nobility in Dante's work. On the video, Professor Arduini notes:

"I recorded a video (in Italian!) on the meaning of "nobility" in Dante Alighieri for a video series produced by ICoN in collaboration with the Accademia della Crusca that explores Italian language, literature, and lesser-known authors, on the occasion of the "Dantedì" or Dante Day, March 25, 2026, available on Instagram and also on their Youtube channel. ICoN, the Italian Culture Consortium on the Net, is a partnership of 21 Italian universities that promotes the study of Italian language and culture online, including degree programs for international students, and is chaired by Professor Michelangelo Zaccarello (University of Pisa)."

Professor Arduini has provided an English translation as well as the original Italian script for the video.
