We are pleased to announce the third annual French & Italian Studies Academic Awards! The FIS Academic Awards are a chance for students to be officially recognized for their excellent work in French and Italian studies courses, have their projects showcased on the department website and receive a cash prize.
All currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students who have completed a project in a French & Italian Studies course in spring 2022, summer 2022, autumn 2022, and winter 2023 are eligible to submit one project for consideration. Examples of submissions could be recorded presentations, well-written and researched papers, or other creative projects that exhibit innovation (in any format or medium).
Upload your project on the Google Form here and complete all of the fields with your personal information. The deadline to submit your project is April 14, 2023.
The FIS faculty Award Committee will review all of the submitted projects and make a selection of award winning projects to be honored and displayed on the FIS website. The cash prizes are as follows; $200 for first place, $175 for second place, and $150 for third place. Runners Up will receive $100.
