Summer quarter is a great time to take French and Italian at UW. Enjoy small class sizes at an accelerated pace to learn a new language or solidify your language skills. Start with FRENCH 101 or ITAL 101, there are no prerequisites required!
For students who have completed their first year we are offering Second year Intensive Italian and French. ITAL 234 covers three quarters of Italian in just 9 weeks. We are also offering FRENCH 234 for the first time this summer so you can now earn all 15 credits of second year French in Summer quarter. Intensive courses meet Monday through Friday for 3 hours and 20 minutes each day. Fulfill your foreign langauge requirement, or earn VLPA credit, and get ready for a study abroad program or international travel!
