The study abroad programs "Paris in the Summer" and "Nantes in the Fall (or for the entire academic year)" will begin recruiting on January 1st!

They offer a wonderful opportunity to earn UW credits while studying abroad. Our programs have a French 103 (or its equivalent) requirement and are open to all students satisfying that requirement (not just French minors and majors!) In Paris or Nantes, you may earn I&S, VLPA and 10 credits toward the French minor or up to 15 toward the French major.

Our Paris and Nantes programs are affordable, and FIS as well as the Nantes-Seattle association and UW study abroad offer a number of scholarships.
