Assistant Professor Maya Smith's French 448 students (Cultures of Franco-America) and students in the CHID Amsterdam Study Abroad Program recently watched a screening of the documentary Paris Noir: African Americans in the City of Light. The screening was followed by an engaging Q&A with the Associate Producer, Julia Browne. The documentary, based on a book by the same name, follows the experience of African-Americans in Paris since 1900.
