As a 2015-2016 Hanauer Fellow, Christina Sztajnkrycer, grad student of French Studies, participates in a seminar entitled "Melting Ports" of the West: Film, Music, Literature and Culture of Odessa, Trieste, and Istanbul. Hanauer Fellows are selected based on their commitment to in-depth and creative study of Western culture, which the Fellows Seminar aims to advance. Christina's own research in French Studies concerns Jewish identity in 19th-Century French literature.
