Our very own Louisa Mackenzie has been awarded the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference's Literature Prize for her essay, “The Fish and the Whale: Animal Symbiosis and Early Modern Posthumanism”; Sixteenth Century Journal; Fall 2014, Vol. 45 Issue 3. This award will be presented at the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference's general business meeting on Friday Oct 23, 2015 in Vancouver, BC. Canada.
