Starting in the fall, Lise Lalonde - a French TA and French Studies graduate student - will be one 1 of 6 fellows in the humanities partnering with a two-year-college faculty member for professional development and mentoring. This fellowship is part of Reimagining the Humanities PhD and Reaching New Publics, a new program to take teaching and scholarship in the humanities to broader audiences. The fellowships develop connections between UW and two-year colleges in the Seattle area, helping scholars and teachers understand the increasingly vital role of two-year colleges in higher education.
