Shown are two students in the new Environmental Cultural Studies in the French Caribbean study abroad program, Shawna Proske (blue glasses) and Junyi Cao (gray shirt) immediately after shaking hands with the French Prime Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault. Ayrault was in Martinique for a ceremony to honor the centennial of the birth of the Aimé Césaire, the poet whose work program participants are currently reading.
