NEW COURSE TITLE: SCIENCE AND LITERATURE THIS CLASS WILL LOOK AT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCIENCE AND LITERATURE IN THE GENRE BROADLY KNOWN AS SPECULATIVE OR SCIENCE FICTION. READINGS INCLUDE JULES VERNE, PIERRE BOULLE, BERNARD WERBER. TAUGHT IN FRENCH. FRENCH MINORS CAN REGISTER IN PERIOD II ON MARCH 2ND.
Catalog Description:
Focuses on French women writers and writing about women. Chronological and geographic range varies. Gender issues addressed in critical fashion, considering the different historical and ideological contexts in which each of the works was produced.
