Syllabus Description:

French 301-302 is an intensive two-part sequence aiming to develop students’ four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) up to the B2 proficiency level on the CEFR scale, and to prepare them for rigorous academic work in the French Major and Minor. In Spring 2018, FR302 students will be reading an abridged version of Victor Hugo's masterpiece Les Misérables.

Catalog Description: 
Designed to bring students to an advanced level of proficiency in grammar and composition. Emphasis on experiencing the language in context through a multi-media approach. FRENCH 303 prepares students for literature classes. Second in a sequence of three. Prerequisite: FRENCH 301.
