Catalog Description: 
Development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills to a basic level of proficiency. Teaches students to communicate in French and understand the cultural context of the language. Methods and objectives are primarily oral-aural. Oral practice in the language laboratory is required. Third in a sequence of three. Prerequisite: either FRENCH 102, FRENCH 110, or score of 31-56 on FR TL placement test. Once FRENCH 103 has been completed successfully, FRENCH 101, 102 AND 103 will be counted as VLPA. If students do not complete 103, previous coursework will be considered elective. Example: Take FRENCH 101, 102, 103 and earn 15 credits of VLPA. Take only FRENCH 101 and it will count as elective credit but will not count as VLPA unless you complete FRENCH 103.
