Biography

Cecilia Strettoi joined the University of Washington in 2003 where she has been nominated two times for the Distinguished Teaching Award. She has two decades of educational experience and has held teaching positions both in Italy and in the US. Cecilia’s main interest is to teach Italian language, culture, and literature through interdisciplinary material that she develops for her classes. Besides her languages classes, Cecilia teaches courses focused on literature about World War II and the Italian Resistance.
